Big Canoe, GA – Injuries Reported in Car Accident on Cove Road

Big Canoe, GA (July 14, 2019) – Police were called to the scene of a car accident that took place on Cove Road in Big Canoe and caused injuries to those involved.

The accident closed the roadway between McClain Mountain Road and Cowart Mountain Road. A car struck a power pole following the accident.

The Power Company was called to the scene of the crash so that they could restore power, which took approximately 12 hours.

The driver of the vehicle that struck the pole was taken to the hospital with a variety of injuries.

The investigation into the accident continues at this time.
