Cartersville, GA (July 13, 2019) – Police confirmed that a pedestrian accident took place on Iron Belt Road in Cartersville around 5:45 a.m. that led to injuries.
The vehicle that struck the driver was identified as a black Ford truck, and police are not sure of the circumstances leading up to the accident.
The injured pedestrian was lifeflighted by medical helicopter to the hospital so that they could be treated for severe injuries.
At this time, police continue their investigation into the accident.
