Marietta, GA – Three Injured in Two-Vehicle Accident on I-75

Marietta, GA (July 17, 2019) – Yesterday morning, July 16, police responded to the scene of a two-vehicle accident that took place in Marietta on Interstate 75 and led to injuries.

At the time, police claimed that a 2007 Jeep was being driven by a woman on I-75 when it suddenly struck the rear-end of a 1994 Chevy S-10 pickup truck that was stalled on the roadway for reasons unknown.

An ATV had been in the bed of the truck and, after being struck, it was propelled forward and went through the back glass of the pickup.

Two people in the pickup truck were rushed to the WellStar Kennestone Hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Jeep was also hospitalized but we do not know her condition at this time.

At this time, Marietta Police continue their investigation into the accident.
