Atlanta, GA (March 8, 2020) – Around 6:30 p.m. this evening, a multi-vehicle collision with severe damages took place in the eastbound lanes of I-285.
Police confirmed that the collision took place when a sedan, black pickup truck, and van collided with one another. The vehicles were so badly damaged that they were spun around in traffic. The van had severe front-end damages after being struck. Debris was seen scattered all over the roadway.
The two left lanes and far-right lane were completely blocked for a period of time following the accident, leading to delays in the area.
Paramedics assisted those with injuries. However, their current conditions are not yet known.
Police continue their investigation of the accident.
