Calhoun, GA – Bicycle Accident with Injuries at Bike Race

Calhoun, GA (March 8, 2020) – Around 11:30 a.m. this morning, a serious Calhoun bicycle accident took place downtown in the city.

The accident happened in an unidentified area of Calhoun near the area of the Calhoun Police Station.

Police did not comment on the circumstances of the collision but the bicyclist was badly injured. LifeForce was called to the scene to transport the victim to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.

The crash took place during a bike race. The condition of the victim is not yet known.

The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
