Cartersville, GA (March 23, 2020) – Around 5 p.m. this evening, police responded to the scene of a serious car crash with injuries in Cartersville.
Police confirmed that the accident took place in Cartersville on East Green Ridge Road and caused one vehicle to veer off the road and into the tree line.
Police did not comment on the extent of the damages but said that one person was injured. They were taken to the hospital with an alleged head injury.
There were delays in the area as police worked to clear the scene.
The investigation into the accident is currently ongoing.
