Decatur, GA – Accident on I-285 Results in Injuries

Decatur, GA (March 1, 2020) – Injuries were reported in a collision on Sunday in Dekalb County.

At around 3:45 p.m., on March 1, emergency crews in Dekalb County rushed to the scene of a collision on the eastbound side of Interstate 285.

According to reports from police, a major motor vehicle accident occurred along the inner lanes of the interstate near Flat Shoals/Candler Road.

At least one person was rushed from the scene of the collision to an area hospital for treatment.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation at this time.
