Decatur, GA (March 22, 2020) – Around 4:17 p.m. this afternoon, DeKalb County authorities responded to a car crash on a major highway that injured one or more victims.
According to police, the collision took place in the westbound lanes of GA-402 near the area of Wesley Chapel Road.
Though few details are known regarding the accident, it appeared that a chain-reaction collision took place between three vehicles. The vehicles were able to move mostly onto the right shoulder of the roadway.
Paramedics were present at the scene of the accident and assisted those with injuries.
No further details have been provided but the investigation is currently ongoing.
