Decatur, GA (March 2, 2020) – Around 3:50 p.m. this afternoon, DeKalb County authorities and numerous other responders assisted at the scene of a car crash in Decatur.
According to police, the collision took place in the westbound lanes of the Ralph David Abernathy Freeway around the area of Candler Road.
The right lane of traffic was blocked for a period of time following the collision, which allegedly involved two vehicles. They were both badly damaged at the scene.
There were extensive delays growing behind the accident. Paramedics assisted those with injuries.
No further details are known but the investigation continues at this time.
