Decatur, GA (March 29, 2020) – A collision early Sunday morning left at least one person with injuries, according to police. Just after 3:10 a.m., on March 29, police, fire, and EMS responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 285, The Perimeter.
Reports indicate that an auto accident occurred along the northbound side of the highway near the area of Covington Highway. This collision caused a complete blockage to the right lane of the highway, significantly slowing the flow of traffic.
EMS crews rendered aid and provided transportation to area hospitals for those in need.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
