Evans, GA (March 26, 2020) – Last evening around 7 p.m., a serious dump truck accident took place at a local intersection in Evans.
Columbia County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene of the collision in the evening at the intersection of Brandywine Drive and Hereford Farm Road.
Police confirmed that two vehicles collided, causing a dump truck to overturn. A driver in the dump truck was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The roadway at the intersection was closed down for some time following the accident.
At this time, the investigation into the accident remains ongoing.
