Forest Park, GA – Car Accident on GA-401 Near Kennedy Rd

Forest Park, GA (March 26, 2020) – Around 1:30 p.m. this afternoon, a car accident took place on a major highway in Forest Park that led to injuries.

Clayton County officials, fire crews, and paramedics were called to the scene of the accident where they assisted those in need. The accident involved multiple vehicles and took place in the northbound lanes of the highway.

Paramedics were seen assisting one or more victims with their injuries. However, the extent of the injuries are not yet known.

All lanes of traffic were blocked and impacted by the accident for a period of time. Police urged those in the area to use Highway 19 as an alternate.

The investigation into the accident continues.
