Marietta, GA – Car Accident on I-75 Near Delk Rd

Marietta, GA (March 8, 2020) – Around 4:42 a.m. this morning, a serious car accident took place in the northbound lanes of I-75 in Marietta.

Police confirmed that the collision happened in the area of Delk Road when two or more vehicles forcefully collided in a chain-reaction accident. The accident left debris scattered all over the roadway.

Paramedics were present at the scene of the accident and helped those with injuries. However, the extent of their injuries is not known.

The accident was so severe that it blocked three lanes of traffic. Police were able to quickly clear the scene.

The investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.
