Sylvester, GA (March 26, 2020) – The Worth County Sheriff’s Office has been investigating a two-vehicle crash on US-82 in Sylvester that took place today.
The crash allegedly took place this morning in the eastbound lanes of the highway around the area of the local Coca-Cola plant. Two vehicles allegedly collided for reasons that are not yet known.
According to police, a medical helicopter was called into the scene due to the severity of the injuries. EMS crews assisted those in need but the extent of the injuries are not yet known.
Eastbound lanes of traffic were temporarily blocked due to the collision.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.
