Acworth, GA – Red Alert Issued After Car Accident on Interstate 75

Acworth, GA (July 15, 2019) – Police issued a temporary red alert in the area of Interstate 75 this morning after a serious car accident took place involving multiple vehicles.

Police did not confirm the circumstances of the accident but claim that it happened in the southbound lanes of the highway and that all lanes were blocked for quite some time. There were a variety of delays in the area.

Various emergency responders arrived at the scene of the accident where they found that multiple parties were injured. Paramedics were called in to assist those with injuries, though we do not know their conditions at this time.

The investigation into the accident is currently ongoing.
