Smyrna, GA – Car Accident at East-West Connector Intersection

Smyrna, GA (July 15, 2019) – Police responded to the scene of a car accident that took place at a local intersection in Smyrna this morning and involved two or more vehicles.

Police did not say how the accident happened, though it appears that right-of-way laws were not abided by. A red pickup truck and a black sedan had damages and were sitting in the middle of the intersection.

The accident happened this morning at the intersection of the East-West Connector and Fontaine Road. The crash blocked the right lane and caused delays for some time.

Various emergency responders arrived at the scene of the crash including firefighters, paramedics, and more to assist with injured parties.

At this time, the investigation into the accident is currently ongoing.
