Atlanta, GA (July 9, 2019) – This evening, police were called to the scene of a car accident that took place in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 20 and led to injuries to parties involved.
Police claim that multiple vehicles collided with one another, two of which had severe front-end damage including a white sedan and a gold pickup truck. Police are not sure of what caused the chain-reaction accident.
The accident blocked two right lanes of traffic as emergency responders arrived, including an ambulance and various other responders sent to help those with injuries.
Police were directing parties to stay far left past the area of Lowery Boulevard for quite some time while they assessed the scene.
The investigation into the accident is currently ongoing.
