Augusta, GA – Truck Accident Involving Vehicle at Windsor Spring Road

Augusta, GA (July 12, 2019) – Today, police responded to the scene of a truck accident involving an SUV that took place at a local Augusta intersection and led to injuries.

The Richmond County Police responded to the scene of the accident, which took place at the intersection of Windsor Spring Road and Peach Orchard Road.

Police reported that an 18-wheeler and a vehicle collided with one another for reasons that are not yet known. The accident took place around 11:06 a.m. The Augusta Fire Department was also called to the scene due to the fact that the SUV involved caught on fire immediately following the crash. Paramedics reported that there were injuries but we do not know how many parties were injured.

At this time, the investigation into the accident continues.
