Eastman, GA (July 11, 2019) – On Wednesday, police responded to the scene of a fatal train accident that took place on Mann Road and took one man’s life.
According to police and the county coroner, a train struck and killed a 26-year-old man from Gresston, Georgia. The man was tragically pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
Police have said that this is actually the third fatal train crash that happened in mid-Georgia in the past week. There was a train crash in Reynolds last week and one in Dodge County.
The accident investigation is ongoing at this time.
