Forsyth, GA (July 16, 2019) – In Monroe County, police responded to the scene of a train accident involving a motor vehicle that took place on North Indian Springs Drive. The accident allegedly led to injuries.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office arrived at the scene of the accident near a crossing on the railway to find that a vehicle had been traveling across the tracks when it was suddenly struck by a train coming through.
The vehicle, a black sedan, was seen with serious damages to the side. Luckily, even though the driver was injured, they are expected to be okay. They were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
