Griffin, GA (July 7, 2019) – On Thursday morning, a fatal accident took place at 900 Chappell Mill Road in Griffin that caused emergency services to arrive at the scene.
Police claim that the driver of a 2004 Honda lost control of his vehicle and crashed that morning. The individual crashed around 2 a.m., according to Lamar County officials.
The driver, who has since been identified by police, was partially ejected with his body pinned under his vehicle. Police believe that the vehicle had been in the woods for some time before walkers in the area discovered him.
At this time, police are still investigating the circumstances that led to the fatal crash.
