Warner Robins, GA (July 7, 2019) – On Saturday night, July 6, a child was struck in a pedestrian accident on Highway 247. Police have confirmed they do not know the child’s condition.
According to police in Houston County, the accident took place as a vehicle came along and struck the child on Highway 247 for reasons that are still not known.
The highway was closed down for quite some time. Police were turning around vehicles in the area due to delays and traffic.
The child, their age, and their condition are not known at this time.
The investigation into the accident is currently ongoing.
