Gwinnett County, GA (July 4, 2019) On the early morning of 4th of July, a car accident happened on the Interstate 85 Freeway, just before the Jimmy Carter Boulevard exit. An unspecified number of vehicles crashed into one another on the highway not far from Center Way. The accident was reported at around 6:15 a.m.
When the police and other crews arrived, they immediately helped everyone involved. Those who were injured were treated by paramedics and then taken to the closest hospital in the area for further treatment. Tow trucks arrived to help remove the damaged vehicles off of the highway. The right lane was blocked as crews worked to clear up the accident.
Authorities are still investigating to figure out what caused the crash.
