Paulding County, GA (July 4, 2019) On the 4th of July, a collision happened on Highway 61, near Kades Code Drive. An unspecified number of vehicles collided on the highway for unknown reasons. The accident was reported just before 1:45 p.m.
When the paramedics and other emergency crews arrived, they immediately began helping everyone involved. Those who sustained serious injuries were taken to the nearest hospital for treatment. Crews had to block some of the lanes as they worked to remove the damaged vehicles off of the highway.
The police are currently investigating to determine what caused the collision and who will be deemed at fault.
