Savannah, GA (July 4, 2019) On the 4th of July, a motorcycle accident happened at the intersection of Abercorn Street and Rio Road. According to the reports, a motorcycle and an SUV collided at the intersection for unknown reasons in the early morning.
When emergency crews arrived, they saw the impact of the accident and shut down one lane in both directions as they worked to investigate and clear the scene. The police redirected traffic and made sure that drivers were only making right turns on Abercorn Street.
The paramedics tended to the injured motorcyclist and rushed the victim to the nearest hospital for treatment.
