Henry County, GA (July 4, 2019) On the morning of July 4th, a truck accident happened in the southbound lanes of Interstate 75, just after exit 212. A tractor trailer and a pickup truck collided on the highway for unspecified reasons early int the morning.
When the police department and paramedics arrived, they found at least one of the vehicles damaged and towed it off of the road. The police had to direct traffic off of the highway at Bill Gardner Parkway. The paramedics tended to all injured victims and transported those who needed further treatment to a nearby hospital.
The police are still investigating the accident to determine why the tractor trailer and the pickup truck collided.
