Savannah, GA (July 4, 2019) On the early morning of July 3rd, a hit-and-run pedestrian accident happened in the 11100 block of Abercorn Street. A 60-year-old man driving a Mercedes Benz E350 struck a 41-year-old man while he was crossing the middle of the highway.
When the paramedics and Savannah Police Department arrived, they found the man lying in the road suffering from serious injuries and rushed him to Memorial Medical Center for immediate treatment.
The Savannah Police Department’s Traffic Investigation Unit is currently investigating to determine who will be held at fault for the accident.
