Monroe, GA – Car Accident on South Broad Street with Injuries

Monroe, GA (July 12, 2019) – Police responded to the scene of a car accident on South Broad Street this past week that caused one vehicle to strike a utility pole.

The circumstances of the accident have not yet been released, but police and other emergency responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident, where they found that a vehicle had struck a utility pole following an accident.

The power pole that was struck completely split into two. Monroe Utilities was notified.

Police claim that one person was taken to the hospital with injuries. The investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.
