Monroe, GA – Motorcycle Accident Involving Vehicle at North Broad Street

Monroe, GA (July 12, 2019) – Police reported that a motorcycle accident took place at a local Monroe intersection that led to injuries in the motorcyclist involved.

Police claim that the accident took place between a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle and that it happened at the intersection of North Broad Street and Gw Carver Drive.

It was confirmed that the motorcyclist was injured in the accident, though we do not know their condition at this time. One person was arrested for DUI and failing to yield the right-of-way when making a left turn.

The investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.
