Moultrie, GA (July 12, 2019) – Police responded to the scene of a car accident that took place at the intersection of Overlook Drive and Tallokas Street in Moultrie.
The accident involved a Ford F-350 and a Chevy Silverado owned by the Moultrie-Colquitt County Parks and Recreation Authority. The driver of the pickup truck told authorities that she stopped at the stop sign and a co-worker agreed that she did before entering into the intersection.
The driver of the Ford and his 14-year-old were taken to the hospital and have since been released after treatment for their injuries.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
