Moultrie, GA – Truck Accident on Highway 37 Leads to Injuries in Four

Moultrie, GA (July 12, 2019) – On Monday around 4:41 p.m., a truck accident took place on Highway 37 involving a log truck and a Toyota Tacoma that led to injuries in four individuals.

The Georgia State Patrol arrived at the scene of the accident where they found that the Tacoma had been traveling south and suddenly pulled into the path of the semi-truck as it went through the intersection with Thigpen Trail.

The driver of the Tacoma, a 46-year-old woman, told the trooper that she stopped at the stop sign but did not see the semi-truck.

Four people were taken to the hospital including a 71-year-old, 9-year-old, 14-year-old, and 51-year-old, all from Florida. They were all identified as passengers inside the Tacoma.

The investigation into the accident continues.
