Newnan, GA – Car Crash on I-85 Leads to Another Car Accident

Newnan, GA (July 19, 2019) – Yesterday, July 18, a car crash that took place in the northbound lanes of I-85 led to another car accident in the area, spiraling traffic out of control.

Officials arrived at the scene of the multi-vehicle crash, which is when the second accident occurred. Police observed that a tanker crashed into a tractor-trailer that was in the traffic caused by the initial impact.

Officials were working the scene of the crash for quite some time due to the severity of the combined accidents. Traffic was bumper-to-bumper for several hours.

Paramedics were called to the scene of the accident so that they could assist those with injuries.
