Savannah, GA (July 8, 2019) – This morning, July 8, police responded to the scene of a fatal accident that closed down Ferguson Avenue in one spot in Savannah.
Police are not sure of the circumstances leading up to the accident at this time, but when they arrived at the scene of the crash around 9:30 a.m., they found one vehicle that had run into a tree.
State troopers said that the driver of that vehicle passed away due to severe trauma at the scene of the accident. Police are still attempting to notify the family of the party so that they can release their identity.
The Georgia State Patrol continues their investigation into the accident at this time.
