Savannah, GA – Portion of Victory Drive Closed After Serious Car Crash

Savannah, GA (July 5, 2019) – On Thursday, July 4, a portion of Victory Drive was closed down after a serious car crash that took place when a vehicle struck a power pole.

The Savannah Police Department arrived at the scene and had to block a portion of Victory Drive in the area of Wallin Street. Georgia Power worked to restore the line.

Paramedics arrived at the scene of the accident so that they could assist one person who was injured in this accident. The roadway opened within a short amount of time as police cleared the scene.

The investigation into the circumstances of the crash continues at this time.
