Unadilla, GA (July 9, 2019) – The Georgia State Patrol investigated the scene of a rollover accident that took place on I-75 in Unadilla and led to injuries.
Police claim that the accident took place when the rear left tire on the vehicle suffered from a malfunction and caused the driver to lose control of her vehicle. The vehicle then overturned, causing the passenger to be ejected.
Police claim that the passenger had not been wearing a seatbelt at the time. She was tragically pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident.
The unidentified driver, on the other hand, was airlifted to the hospital and has suffered from non-life-threatening injuries.
Police continue their investigation.
