Union City, GA – Two Killed in Fatal Accident on Buffington Road

Union City, GA (July 17, 2019) – The Georgia State Patrol was called to the scene of a fatal accident that took place on Buffington Road involving a semi-truck.

The accident took place on Monday afternoon. A van carrying numerous people with special needs allegedly rear-ended a semi-truck in the bumper for reasons that are still being investigated.

Police confirmed that two people were declared dead at the scene of the accident while multiple other parties were transported to the Grady Memorial Hospital.

The van had eight people in it at the time, including the driver and passengers with adults with special needs.

The investigation into the accident continues at this time.
