Alto, GA – Woman Killed in Fatal Fire on Yonah Post Rd

Alto, GA (March 7, 2020) – This morning around 6:45 a.m., a woman was killed in a fatal fire that took place on 600 Yonah Post Road in Alto.

Emergency services responded to the scene of the fire, where they discovered that a woman was inside the home. The female was, unfortunately, found deceased.

Police and fire crews have said that nobody else was in the house. They do not know what led up to the fire.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation by authorities.
