Williamson, GA (March 7, 2020) – Around 6:34 p.m. last night, March 6, one person was killed in a fatal collision at Zebulon Road and Williamson Road.
A GMC Sierra was headed along trying to turn left at the intersection when it suddenly collided head-on with a Nissan Sentra. The driver of the Nissan was identified as a 53-year-old woman from Hollonville. She was tragically pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
The driver of the GMC was identified as a woman who had her husband and son in the vehicle with her. They were all transported to Spalding Regional for treatment of their injuries.
The investigation into the collision continues.
