Athens, GA (March 10, 2020) – Around 1:20 p.m. this afternoon, a car crash took place at an Athens intersection that led to injuries.
Though police have not confirmed the exact circumstances leading up to the accident, they have said that the collision happened when two or more vehicles collided. The crash happened at the intersection of Peachtree Road and North Druid Hills Road.
Police confirmed that there were injuries reported and paramedics were present at the scene.
A right lane of traffic was blocked for some time, leading to extensive delays in the area.
The investigation into the accident continues.
