Atlanta, GA – Car Accident on GA-401 Near Howell Mill Rd

Atlanta, GA (March 20, 2020) – Around 10:45 p.m. last night, March 19, Atlanta Police responded to the scene of a serious car accident on a major highway.

Police confirmed that the northbound lanes of GA-401 were blocked for a period of time numerous vehicles collided with one another.

The accident, according to police, took place near the area of Howell Mill Road. Numerous emergency responders were present at the scene of the accident. Paramedics confirmed that one or more victims were injured in the collision.

The accident blocked lanes of traffic and caused extensive delays in the area. Police urged those in the area to use Moores Mill Road.

At this time, the investigation into the accident is ongoing.
