Decatur, GA (March 20, 2020) – At 8 p.m. last night, March 19, police responded to the scene of a car accident that took place on the Ralph David Abernathy Freeway.
DeKalb County authorities, fire crews, paramedics, and various other responders were dispatched to the scene of the car accident in Decatur. The crash occurred when two or more vehicles collided in the westbound lanes of the highway near the area of Candler Road.
Paramedics confirmed that there were injuries due to the collision but the extent of the injuries is not yet known.
Two lanes of traffic were blocked for a period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation is currently ongoing.
