Atlanta, GA (March 15, 2020) – Around 6:30 a.m. this morning, multiple emergency responders assisted at the scene of a serious car accident on an Atlanta highway.
The accident, according to police, took place on the Ralph David Abernathy Highway around the area of Flat Shoals Road. Numerous vehicles collided in the eastbound lanes of the highway.
Police confirmed that the accident occurred in the right lane of traffic, leading to extensive delays in the area for a period of time.
Paramedics assisted at the scene and helped those with injuries. However, the extent of the injuries is not yet known.
The investigation into the collision is currently ongoing.
