Macon, GA (March 15, 2020) – Around 6 p.m. this evening, a serious motorcycle accident occurred at a Macon intersection due to road debris.
The accident took place at the intersection of Arkwright Road and Arkwright Drive in Macon. A 38-year-old man from North Carolina was driving his motorcycle when his motorcycle struck the debris, causing him to lose control.
The motorcycle went down an embankment and landed on railroad tracks. The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition due to severe trauma.
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the circumstances of the collision.
