Atlanta, GA – Car Accident with Injuries in EB Lanes of I-20

Atlanta, GA (March 13, 2020) – Around 11:30 a.m. this morning, Atlanta Police responded to the scene of a car accident with injuries on I-20.

Police confirmed that the collision took place in the eastbound lanes of I-20 around the Lowery Boulevard area.

Paramedics and various other responders assisted at the scene, which involved at least two vehicles and extensive damages. Injuries were reported but, unfortunately, we do not know the conditions of those involved.

Two left lanes of traffic were blocked for a period of time until police were able to clear the scene.

The investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.

Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families in hopes of a full recovery.
