Atlanta, GA (March 25, 2020) – Around 3:30 p.m. this afternoon, a portion of the highway on GA-403 was closed down following a truck crash involving multiple vehicles.
The crash took place at the Indian Trail exit. The Georgia State Patrol confirmed that it involved two tractor-trailers, three passenger vehicles, and an SUV.
Police did not confirm the circumstances that led to the accident but they did confirm that the driver of a Toyota Camry was taken to the hospital with critical injuries. The drivers of other vehicles had injuries and were hospitalized as well.
There were heavy delays caused by the accident for approximately three hours while police and other responders worked at the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the crash continues.
