Lithia Springs, GA – Car Accident on GA-402 Near Lee Rd

Lithia Springs, GA (March 25, 2020) – Around 2 p.m. this afternoon, Douglas County authorities responded to the scene of a car accident in Lithia Springs.

Police and other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident, which took place in the eastbound lanes of GA-402. Multiple vehicles collided before the Lee Road area.

Due to the severity of the accident, the left lane of traffic was blocked for a period of time. Emergency responders, including paramedics, were seen assisting injured victims.

There were delays in the area but police quickly cleared the roadway. No further details have been confirmed and the investigation continues.
