Atlanta, GA (March 6, 2020) – Around 11 a.m. this morning, a travel advisory was issued following a serious vehicle collision on an Atlanta highway.
The accident, according to police, took place in the southbound lanes of the Larry McDonald Memorial Highway around the area of Windy Hill Road.
Police confirmed that the accident happened in the two left lanes of traffic and led to extensive delays for those leaving the Marietta area.
Multiple emergency vehicles, including fire crews and EMS, were present in the area. Photographs showed numerous responders assisting those with injuries.
No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident continues.
