Austell, GA – Car Accident on West Expy Near Riverside Pkwy

Austell, GA (March 7, 2020) – Around 4:30 p.m. this afternoon, Cobb County authorities responded to the scene of a serious car accident in Austell.

According to authorities, the collision occurred on the West Expressway near the area of Riverside Parkway and blocked numerous lanes of traffic.

Police did not confirm the exact circumstances leading up to the collision but it is believed that two or more vehicles collided forcefully at the scene.

There were extensive damages reported in the vehicles involved and injuries were reported as well. The conditions of those involved are not yet known.

At this time, the investigation into the collision continues.
