Cedartown, GA – Fatal Accident on Martha Berry Hwy

Cedartown, GA (March 11, 2020) – Around 7 a.m. this morning, a fatal accident took place on the Martha Berry Highway in Cedartown.

Authorities responded to the scene of the collision where they found that a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer collided near the Cedartown High School.

Police did not comment on the circumstances that caused the two vehicles to collide. However, the victim was identified as a 58-year-old woman.

The roadway was closed down in the area for a short period of time. The investigation into the collision continues.
