Claxton, GA (March 25, 2020) – Around 4:46 a.m. in the morning, a vehicle and a truck collided in a serious tractor-trailer collision in Claxton.
The Evans County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of the collision where they found that a passenger vehicle struck the side of a disabled tractor-trailer alongside the highway on GA-169.
The sheriff’s office was already active at the scene attempting to help the driver of the truck.
Though few details are known, it is believed that only the driver of the vehicle was injured. The extent of their injuries are not yet known.
Police continue to investigate the accident at this time.
